Mother’s Day Donor Campaign

Challenge

The American Heart Association (AHA) sought a creative way to engage donors for Mother’s Day. The goal was to raise awareness and funds for their mission while connecting emotionally with supporters through impactful and meaningful merchandise. The challenge was to design items that resonated with their audience, felt personal, and aligned with the AHA’s brand values.

Solution

I collaborated with the internal AHA teams to ideate and design a range of custom merchandise for the campaign. Key steps included:

  • Brainstorming creative concepts for merchandise that combined emotional appeal with practical functionality.

  • Designing a variety of items, including custom mugs, to serve as both keepsakes and promotional tools.

  • Refining hand-drawn elements for the designs, adding a personal and heartfelt touch to the campaign.

Results

The Mother’s Day campaign successfully raised both funds and awareness for the AHA’s important work. The custom merchandise resonated deeply with donors, creating a lasting connection to the cause. Personally, it was rewarding to contribute to such a meaningful program, and my designs were so cherished that I bought all the mugs for my own family, celebrating the project’s impact in a heartfelt way.
